Out patient registration is based on the request of the patient. There are two different types of OPD registration.
a) Patients coming for the first time.
b) Patients who come for regular visit
OPD RECORD
A unique Out patient number is allotted to each patient on his first visit. Person at registration counter informs patient about the availability of the concerned doctor. Patients are attended on first come first serve basis. Emergency patients are allowed on priority basis. Doctor records the details in Case History report. Amount for investigation is paid at the cash counter. Two copies of receipt coupon remittance challans are prepared. One copy is given to the patient, the other goes to Account Department.
