Introduction

The academic section of the Organisation deals with the admissions, academic regulations, conduct of Exams, and executes academic activities in pursuance of the objective of Kalinga Hospital Limited. The objective of the institute is to develop patterns of teaching for post graduate and graduate Medical and Nursing education in the respective branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of medical education to all other allied institutions. These activities encompass undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programmes for Nursing and Medical Courses. Kalinga hospital Limited, the first multispecialty with Super speciality corporate hospital in Odisha, set up by a visionary Philanthropic group with a vision to quality care at affordable cost accommodating every strata of society. Established by Hospital corporation of Odisha (HCO), a company registered in USA having 63 NRI Odiya as its members in the year 1990 under the Companies act 1956 and presently under the chairmanship of the Innovator, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist Dr. Sita Kantha Dash, a 250 bedded hospital, with 48 bedded critical care unit, acquiring about 10 acres of picturesque land scape, situated at a strategic location in the city, well connected with railway station, Airport and National Highway. Proud to be ISO, NABH and NABL Accredited.
